Ruston Fall Photo Shoot

Im always impressed by a woman who is driven, and "got it together!". This is Breanna Adele Mertz aka "Bre". I first saw her photo on Instagram. She was this blonde beauty in our red Bulldawg Football tee and flipping her hair around a bunch of paper airplanes.
It was the coolest pic! Her friend actually took the photo, but informed me that Bre was a photographer too. COOL!  (Bre is now a brunette this week!)Well, fast forward to literally last week and we announced on IGnstagram that we were "Going Greek".
Bre sent me a private message and offered to set up a photo shoot  on Labor Day. She said she'd round up the girls and make it happen. For some reason, I had complete faith in this girl that I had never met and wasn't worried at all. And let me tell you, Bre DELIVERED!
She came up with the four sweetest and prettiest sorority girls and then also set up a wonderful make up artist to come do their make up professionally. I was feeling very BIG TIME!! Hahaha
She also lined up help with Rodeo Boutique and got a few key items to go with our clothes.  Thank you to Mallory Danna for helping Bre organize all of this! (We will be posting another blog about the new sorority line)

We met up at Bre and her husbands very cool apartment located near The Fashion of Ruston. www.RadiantYouBeauty.com.

It was URBAN COMFY COOL!! Think brick walls, one big open space, with interesting little touches.  The girls arrived at 2 to start getting their makeup done by the very talented Kasie Nelson.
Kasie is a Tech Grad and is a pharmaceutical rep who has passion for make up.
Here is Kasie below. A La Natural!

She worked at MAC and is from San Antonia, Texas. Her husband played football at Tech and is now a financial advisor.
She and Bre met at RAW one night and just hit it off. If you need an excellent makeup artist, she does weddings and will travel.
The models were great! The first one was gorgeous red head named Eva Edinger. She is shown here in our new Bucks with Chucks football tee and ripped jeans.
I didn't clue in at first that she was Miss Tech!! She was so modest and didn't mention it-someone else did! She is a Sigma Kappa  and about to be a junior. She is a Biology premed student and from Ruston. I am now a huge fan and can't wait to cheer her on next year at Miss Louisiana.
Classy, sweet and who we would be proud to have representing our state.  Next up was my fellow Alpha Chi sister Kerrigan May. Shown below in our new long sleeve deer tee.
She is another gorgeous red head who is about to be a senior. She is from West Monroe and is in Elementary Ed. (she wants to teach 5th grade) She also cheered for 3 years at Tech and is a student reciter and Bulldawg Ambassador. Loved seeing her in bright lipstick~very striking!  Our third model was the very pretty Phi Mu, Margaret Le Brun.
She is from Columbus, Mississippi and going into her soph year. Her Dad and Brother both went to Tech. She is in Mechanical Engineering and on Union Board. She had a natural Girl next door sweet beauty about her that showed on the camera. Lastly but not least, was our Kappa Delta model Emily Prestridge. She actually modeled our Oak Tree of Life Shirt in the latest spread in BayouLife magazine. So neat to meet her in person! She had the best eyes and creamy skin!
Loved seeing her in a black beanie with our tees.  I have a feeling this Fall is going to be all about a big slouchy beanie for me!
Shown here in our new Bucks with Chucks black and gray Colorblock sweatshirt.
She is a senior in Communication Studies, and is a West Monroe girl, but went school at Cedar Creek in Ruston, LA.
I swear we had the DREAM TEAM!! Its funny how things sometimes just all fall into place...one stroke of luck was that the Norton Building was open.
You may of been to a wedding or party there. Cool two story building with walls that look like abstract paintings. I was in heaven!
We just walked on in and started taking pics. I laughed and told the girls their more neutral look reminded me of "Pretty Little Louisiana Liars".. haha There was some rough looking dude that was working there cleaning up. He inform us that we needed to be doing a lingerie shoot (Good Lord!!) haha and that he once modeled for PLAY GIRL!! OMG!! We tried not to make eye contact after that! HAHAHA
The girl were troopers. We scurried around and got some last minute pics in our new Bulldawg Country Baseball Tee.
It was hot-very hot! Thankfully, Kasie touched up makeup throughout the shoot.
BIG Thank you to Bre for everything!! You were fun to be around and took some wonderful pics.
Interested in hiring her, email her at breanne.adele.photography@gmail.com.
We will have our special new sorority tees at our Trunk Show  at Rodeo Boutique in Ruston on Tues Sept 15th.  Stay tuned for another Blog about them!! The Trunk show will be all day from 10am-8pm with a special Meet and Greet with Brent and I from 5-8pm. Come see us that night!!

Thanks for reading!!
Love
Lissy
